Najeeb and Larisa: Together with our team, we are developing ThermoMind, which is poised to revolutionize breast cancer screening through the introduction of a novel, noninvasive, radiation-free and patient-centric modality. Our innovative approach not only paves the way for more effective screening and diagnosis of breast cancer, but also presents opportunities to utilize thermal imaging in the detection and diagnosis of a variety of other diseases that impact metabolic functions.

Najeeb: My objective is to develop a novel, state-of-the-art innovation in the healthcare industry that will create a new realm of opportunities in terms of employment and generate novel forms of data. The key focus of this innovative technology will be centered around patients, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the overall health and wellbeing of individuals.

“Our approach has the potential to improve the standard of care for breast cancer detection and have a positive impact on many lives.”

Larisa: By providing a noninvasive and safe method for detecting breast cancer in its early stages, our work at ThermoMind could help to increase the chances of successful treatment, improve patient monitoring and ultimately save lives.

Additionally, our approach could reduce patient discomfort and anxiety associated with traditional diagnostic methods. Overall, it has the potential to improve the standard of care for breast cancer detection and have a positive impact on many lives.

Najeeb: Driven by my business acumen, I ventured beyond my comfort zone and spearheaded the founding of a healthcare company that specifically targets breast cancer. This endeavor entailed relocating from Germany to the startup nation Israel, to establish ThermoMind and demonstrate the immense potential of our innovative technology.

Larisa: I was raised in Armenia and trained as a rhythmic gymnast, aspiring to become an Olympic champion, much like Israel’s Linoy Ashram. However, with limited opportunities in my home country and my mother’s encouragement to pursue mathematics and science, I have ventured into the field of machine learning, which led me to Israel and entrepreneurship in femtech, which I find exhilarating. I foresee a future full of challenges, thrilling experiences and unexplored revelations.
