The holiday of Shavuot is almost upon us, and here in Israel the country is opening up steadily day by day, bringing new festivity into the air. This will be the first chance for many families to celebrate a holiday together since Tu Bishvat in February, as we’ve been on lockdown for all the rest.

The Jewish holiday commemorates the day when the Israelites received the Torah after wandering in the desert, and is famous for it’s dairy dishes.

For those who can bring friends and family together for the holiday, and also for those who can’t, we’ve brought together x of our favorite recipes that are just perfect for the holiday. Click on the name of the dish to go through to the recipe.

Feta Cheese and Chard Burekas

Tabouleh Salad

Israeli Salad

Cabbage Salad

Flaky Home-Made Halva

And last, but never least, Classic Cheesecake
