Tel Aviv EAT, a three-day celebration of food, kicks off today at 18:00 in the Charles Clore Park in TelAviv, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Gourmet chefs will manage street food stands and serve up mouthwatering bites.

Israeli cuisine has snagged some hot press reviews these last few years and its street food fare hold top honors, too.

Chefs from Yaffo Tel Aviv, Yahaloma Banamal, Manta Ray, Zakaim, Meshek Barzilay, Lima Nippo, Mexicana, Vicky Cristina, Little Italy, Agadir, Cookeez, Tamara, Dim Sum Shop, and others are taking part in the food festival.

For those wanting a loftier gourmet experience, the Dinner in the Sky experience will lift diners up above the Mediterranean Sea. The Dinner in the Sky restaurant hoists dinner guests 50-meters above ground for a different kind of dining experience.

Local music bands will also be on hand at the festival, as well as farmers’ markets selling local produce.
