Judokan Ariel Zeevi and windsurfers Shahar Zubari and Lee Korzits are being pinned as Israel’s best hopes for medals at the upcoming 2012 Olympic Games in London.

The Olympic Committee of Israel recently approved its list of 38 athletes to compete at the Summer Olympics.

The Committee also said that Zubari, who won the bronze medal at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, will be Israel’s flag bearer at this month’s Games.

The Israeli representatives include:

Judo – Ariel Zeevi, Golan Pollack, Iosef Palelashvili, Artyom Arshansky, Alice Schlesinger

Athletics – Zohar Zemiro, Donald Sanford

Badminton – Misha Zilberman

Artistic Individual All-around Gymnastics – Alexander Shatilov, Felix Aronovich, Valeria Maksiuta

Artistic Gymnastics (team) – Marina Schultz, Eliora Zolokovski , Victoria Koshel, Polyana Zakolzani , Moran Bozovski, Noa Palchi

Rhythmic Individual All-around Gymnastics – Neta Rivkin

470 Sailing – Gideon Kliger and Eran Sela; Vered Buskila and Gil Cohen

Swimming – Nimrod Shapira Bar-Or, Imri Ganiel, Jonathan Koplev, Gal Nevo, Yakov-Yan Toumarkin, Amit Ivry

10 meter Rifle Shooting – Sergy Richter

Pole Vault – Jillian Schwartz

Sailboard – Shahar Zubari, Lee Korzits

Laser Radial Sailing – Nufar Edelman

Synchronized Swimming – Anastasia Gloushkov and Inna Yoffe

Tennis – Shahar Peer, Andy Ram and Jonathan Erlich
