Now topping the dance charts worldwide: The Young Professionals (TYP), an Israeli electro-pop group headed by Ivri Lider. The band just signed a remarkable three-album record deal with top label Universal Polydor, which also handles artists such as Lady Gaga.

“For us it’s a giant opportunity to really take our stuff forward and make it what we want it to be,” Lider tells ISRAEL21c.

TYP is being buzzed as one of the most exciting new acts to hit the music scene, and Lider credits Tel Aviv as the source for their original vibe, thanks to its diverse mixture of people and sounds. “Tel Aviv is a party town, it’s up all night, it’s workaholic, it’s interesting and different,” says Lider.
