Four electrical engineering students from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev will take part in the EUREL International Management Cup in Stockholm next week.

Whether they win or lose, acceptance into the EUREL competition is considered a feat in itself. The EUREL Cup is a strategic business simulation game for students and young professionals of electrical engineering. The Israeli students completed a six-week preliminary round and are now heading to the three-day final in Stockholm (Sept. 19-21).
Each team is made up of four engineers (students, graduates and young professionals with electrical background). The team acts as the management board of a virtual shareholder company – and competes with a set of other national teams on the same market.

Teams learn how to decide on aspects like product life cycle, personal competence, production cost management, reengineering, corporate identity, share price, rating, as well as shareholder value-oriented management.
