Nearly 3,000 students hone their natural talents in fashion and industrial design, art and engineering at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Tel Aviv.

The highlight of the academic year is a student exhibition that, according to President Yuli Tamir, determines the level of design in Israel both domestically and internationally.

Design houses and companies from abroad regularly send representatives to the exhibition in order to choose pieces to buy and to offer employment to Shenkar graduates, according to Tamir.

“It’s a way to present really the best of the best of Israeli design, and as you can see, the public likes it,” she says.
