“Advancing Innovation for First Responders,” an international seminar organized by SIBAT (the defense export and defense cooperation agency of the Israeli Defense Ministry), the Ministry of Public Security and the BIRD Foundation, takes place today (October 8) at the Air Force House and Auditorium in Herzliya.
Israeli companies and government agencies are deeply involved in innovation for first responders around the globe, who are always looking for better technologies and solutions to ensure the health, safety and security of the people they serve in emergency situations such as mass natural disasters.
The seminar is geared to advancing the development of products for this sector.
Officials from the sponsoring ministries as well as Motorola Solutions, Elbit Systems, BriefCam, Persys Medical International, the Home Front Command, the National Fire and Rescue Authority, Magen David Adom, Israel National Police and FirstLink Research and Analytics will also share the experience of Israeli and multinational companies currently selling to the first responders market.
The BIRD (US-Israel Binational Industrial Research and Development) Foundation supports cooperative R&D ventures between the United States and Israel.
