Swimmer Inbal Pezaro won Israel’s first and last medals of the 2012 London Paralympics, ending her pool experience with three bronze medals.

Pezaro won the bronze medal in the 100-meter freestyle S5 event last night thereby notching up Israel’s final tally to eight — hours after quad tennis player Noam Gershony won gold in his event.

The 25-year-old swimmer was the first to put Israel on the podium in the first days of the London 2012 Paralympics — winning bronze medals in the 50-meter freestyle and 200-meter freestyle events – and last to take the podium as well.
