In October, Yuval Sharon and Danny Amitai, co-owners of Comics N’ Vegetables in Tel Aviv and Ra’anana, won the 2011 Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailer Award.

They were the first Israelis ever to win this “Oscar” of the comic-book world, and their win was celebrated with astonishment and delight.
