Israeli band J.Viewz has created a brand new fusion of electronic music and soul-moving musical elements that’s being embraced in New York and all over the US.

Israeli band J.Viewz, founded by producer Jonathan Dagan, has taken its success from Israel to the United States with its unique blend of electronic music, soul elements and vocals.

After a first show in the US, in Baltimore, where Dagan says, “the crowd went wild” he tells ISRAE21c that he thought to himself, “This might work.”

Born in Israel 27 years ago Dagan has been making music since he was 12. He first joined bands in his native Haifa as a guitarist and bassist and went on to write his own music and start his own band. To illustrate to band members the way he wanted his songs to sound, Dagan bought a synthesizer and played them the music. Then he began to play with the synthesizer.

In a few years he reached his peak in Israel with sold-out shows of J.Viewz, and was producing and mixing for some of Israel’s top talent. That’s when an opportunity arose to move to New York and start from scratch again.

These days the band is performing for sold-out audiences at the Blue Note in New York City. In addition to vocalist Noa Lembersky, the band includes Urijah, Yakir BenTov and Moshe Asraf. JViewz performs new music as well as live remixes of studio adventures.
