It would seem that Israel has become a hot (secret) getaway vacation spot for Hollywood’s A-listers as Pamela Anderson chooses Jerusalem and the Dead Sea for her honeymoon. The 46-year-old former Baywatch star remarried former husband Rick Salomon, a film producer, on Sunday and then boarded an El Al flight to Israel.

The newlyweds are staying at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem. Photos of their dip in the Dead Sea surfaced in Hebrew media on Tuesday (January 14).

Earlier this month, we reported that Mayim Bialik – aka Amy Farrah Fowler on television’s The Big Bang Theory – was in Israel on a low-key visit that included off-the-beaten track accommodations and sights.

Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman — who is working on her film adaption ‘A Tale of Love and Darkness’ by author Amos Oz – has been in Tel Aviv for a while. Although snapped by paparazzi every now and then, the actress-director has kept a relatively low profile.

Meanwhile, Anderson’s visit is not her first to Israel – she was here in 2010 and 2011.
