Alon Day, the first Israeli NASCAR driver, brings the 1990s in Israel alive for 21see with his descriptions of watching action shows, learning to surf, and go-karting on Friday afternoons after lunching on his mom’s special couscous. Now, in Israel’s 70th year of statehood, Day is racing toward another European championship ring and the NASCAR Cup level. Click on the video to hear Alon Day’s memories.
