Serena Williams, one of the tennis world’s best players ever, made a surprise landing in Israel last night. Williams came for some rest-and-recuperation in Eilat following a whirlwind tour of Africa with her sister, Venus.

The Williams sisters were in Africa to promote their “Break the Mold” tour, during which they spoke to girls about making better lives for themselves.

The 31-year-old Serena was given a warm welcome upon her arrival in Israel, according to Yediot Aharonot newspaper.
