The Technion Institute ranked among the Top 25 engineering schools in the world, according to a Business Insider report.

The American business news website placed the Haifa institute at No. 25 on the prestigious list, beating out the likes of University of Toronto, Washington State University and University of Chicago.

The survey cited the California Institute of Technology as the top engineering school in the world.

“Some of the best engineering schools in the world serve as feeder programs for the best technology companies out there, like Facebook, Google, and Apple,” reported the news site.

In Israel, IBM, Hewlett-Packard and Oracle tend to hire Technion graduates to their workforces.
