“A feeling like from heaven” is how one resident of Kiryat Yam describes his alleged undersea encounter with the legendary mermaid on the quiet beach of his hometown.
The mayor of this blue-collar Israeli town near Haifa even offered a $1 million reward to anyone who could prove the mermaid really exists.
