IsraAID, Hilton Tokyo and Great East Japan Earthquake Recovery Initiatives Foundation (GEJERI)- a public interest incorporated foundation – recently completed a week of youth leadership training for students from Japan’s Tohoku earthquake affected region.

The leadership program was designed to empower the youth from Tohoku to take responsibility for their futures as individuals and as a community. IsraAID, the Israel Forum for International Humanitarian Aid, offered various self-development workshops and leadership skills seminars while the Hilton Tokyo provided accommodation, meals and hands-on training.

Hilton Tokyo and IsraAID have partnered up on a number of projects designed to support continued post disaster recovery activities in Japan’s Tohoku region.

In addition to its leadership programs in Japan, IsraAID is operating projects in Haiti, Kenya and South Sudan.
