Global leaders taking part in the 2016 International Women’s Forum (IWF) World Cornerstone Conference in Tel Aviv hope to copy the Israeli experience to create change.

Leaders from the business, government, NGO and academia sectors are taking part in a three-day (May 17-19) conference on pressing global matters, including water security, the technology divide, cyber security, gender equality and more.

“Tel Aviv is known for its constant change, fast-paced growth and technological progress. We are thrilled to have our talented group of panelists and hundreds of IWF members in Tel Aviv, a city that embodies IWF’s mission to elicit positive change on a global scale,” said Mina Teicher, IWF Leadership Foundation Board Director, Conference Co-Chair & former Chief Scientist of the Israeli government.

The theme of this year’s conference, “Seek, Solve, Soar,” is meant to inspire women leaders to identify solutions and be the catalyst for change in their own communities.

The IWF is comprised of more than 6,300 of the world’s most dynamic, accomplished and visionary women who are dedicated to advancing better leadership around the world.

“We truly believe learning is the foundation of leading. As leaders and trusted members of our societies, we are responsible for shaping our communities,” said Teresa Weintraub, IWF President. “This conference puts the welfare of the people front and center, by empowering women leaders and engendering a dialogue between influential women and men surrounding critical issues, in a global city such as Tel Aviv.”
