The first-ever Forbes Under 30 Summit Global will take place May 6-9, 2018 in Israel, Forbes announced last week. The summit will bring together roughly 800 of the most successful young entrepreneurs from its 30 Under 30 lists around the world, representing 35 countries.

“This summit represents a true crossroads, a meeting of people who will help run every field in every country for the next half-century,” said Randall Lane, editor of Forbes.

The Forbes Under 30 Summit series is an extension of Forbes magazine’s annual 30 Under 30 US list, one of the magazine’s most popular franchises. Attendees at the Summit Global will be selected from 30 Under 30 lists in the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

The first Israeli 30 Under 30 list was compiled by Forbes in 2016.

The goal of the summit is to foster game-changing ideas and collaborations.

The four days of programming will include panels, performances, product demos and keynotes designed to highlight the culture of Israel. Highlights from the itinerary include ringing the opening bell at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, a food and bar crawl in Mahane Yehuda market in Jerusalem, a music festival, and a service day in Jerusalem, and a beach party in Tel Aviv featuring dishes from Jewish and Arab chefs.
