Tel Aviv’s trendy Rothschild Boulevard will welcome another high-end boutique hotel soon with the opening of Nobu Hospitality’s 17th global location.

Nobu, founded in 2013 by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert De Niro and Hollywood producer Meir Teper, engaged Canadian power couple Gerry Schwartz and Heather Reisman to develop a vision to introduce the “tastemakers and style setters” brand to Israel.

With Nobu restaurant at its core, the new boutique hotel will be located at 55 Rothschild Boulevard and 66 Ahad Ha’am Street. The property will offer 38 guest rooms, a large garden, fitness center and pool, outdoor spaces and a private rooftop for events.

“To come to Tel Aviv in this location with partners and good friends, Gerry and Heather, is the perfect congruence for us all,” said Teper.

Trevor Horwell, Chief Executive Officer said, “Coupled with Tel Aviv’s presence as a major high-tech and business center, and the strong tourism market in the city, the project fits perfectly with our global clientele.”

Nobu Hospitality’s award-winning luxury hotels are located in Las Vegas, Manila, Miami Beach, Malibu, London, Ibiza Bay, Palo Alto and Marbella. Other Nobu hotels are in development in Barcelona, Riyadh, Los Cabos, Chicago, Toronto, São Paulo and Atlanta.

The company has not announced the exact opening date for Nobu Tel Aviv.
