When Pope Benedict XVI came on his first official visit to Israel this month, thousands of Roman Catholic pilgrims joined him on his journey. More are expected to visit Israel over the year ahead
The theme of his historic trip was reconciliation and peace, and during his visit, the Pope toured Christian, Jewish and Muslim holy sites, and gave three masses in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Nazareth.
ISRAEL21c interviewed some of the visitors who accompanied the Pope on his tour of Israel to find out their reactions to the Holy Land.
