Today we mark Jerusalem Day with a selection of photos by still photographer Noam Chen.

Chen specializes in capturing urban subjects, portraits and nature using High Dynamic Range (HDR) technique for a super-saturated effect.

HDR brings out the textures, light, shadow and color of Jerusalem’s ancient stones…

Chen’s work has been featured in Israel and abroad, with a client list that includes National Geographic Magazine, Jerusalem’s Biblical Zoo and the Ministry of Tourism. He’s participated in in group and solo exhibitions in Israel and Paris with an extensive portfolio that can be viewed online.

Chen recently announced a contest on Facebook offering the chance to win a photograph from his online album Holy Land of Israel.

To enter, join his Facebook page, “Like”, share this post and add a comment on the places in Israel you’d most like to see captured by Noam.

The winner will receive an original framed 50cm by 35cm photo of his/her choice from the Holy Land of Israel album. With over 70 magnificent photos from which to choose, its a prize worth competing for.

Winners will be announced on May 20th. For more information and to enter, visit Noam Chen’s page on Facebook.
