When you’re in the center of Israel it’s hard to imagine you’re in the Middle East. Out in the desert though, it’s an entirely different matter.
On most of Israel’s desert roads you’ll see signs warning of Camels in the road. It’s not so unusual to spot one on the road either, bringing traffic to a temporary standstill.
