AI Week Online, a virtual conference sponsored by the Cyber Research Center at Tel Aviv University, will highlight the ways in which artificial intelligence technology is revolutionizing business strategy, government policy, operations and product development in every imaginable field.
Three packed days, February 7-9, will feature sessions by 63 AI professionals, government officials, thought leaders and researchers from around the world.
The conference is chaired by Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Prof. Isaac Ben Israel, director of Tel Aviv University Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center and co-head of Israel’s AI Initiative.
“During the last decade, Israel has become one of the five leading countries in the world in the field of cyber, and if the necessary steps are taken, the country can achieve a similar position in the field of artificial intelligence,” said Ben Israel.
Among scheduled speakers from Israel are Amitai Armon, Chief Data Scientist, Intel IT AI Group; Adi Watzman, ML Research Scientist at PayPal; Dror Bin, CEO of the Israel Innovation Authority; Yoli Shavit, Research Scientist Team Lead, Huawei Tel Aviv Research Center; and Zohar Karnin, Principal Applied Scientist, Amazon.
Among scheduled speakers from other countries are Carme Artigas, Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence of Spain; Sana Khareghani, Head of the UK Government’s Office for AI; Jack Hidary, head of Sandbox at Alphabet; and Souvik Barat, Principal Scientist at Tata Consultancy Services Research, India.
Participants will also learn about job opportunities in AI-related fields.
