Israeli startup Jones won the Real Estate Tech Award (RETA) for 2020 in the insurance category. It’s the first Israeli win in the seven-year history of the RETAs.
Sponsored by multinational real estate services company JLL Technologies, the RETAs recognize cutting-edge companies that play an integral role in advancing technology in the industry. The awards are presented by CREtech, the largest event, data and content platform in the commercial real-estate tech industry.
“We’re honored to be selected for a RETA this year,” said Omri Stern, cofounder and CEO of Jones, which has offices in New York and Tel Aviv.
“With commercial property risks on a steep incline due to the Covid-19, smart compliance solutions are absolutely essential.”
Founded in 2017 by Stern and Michael Rudman, Jones makes software that automates insurance operations for commercial real-estate owners, operators, contractors and builders.
The company works with JLL as well as other established property groups, including those that manage New York City buildings housing Google, Empire stores and Goldman Sachs.
“At Jones, we strive to build software that radically simplifies the risk and compliance process in real estate,” said Stern. “We do that with a combination of seamless workflows, artificial intelligence and managed services that help our clients to remove the heavy lifting of completing the risk and compliance process with tenants and vendors.”
