Four Israeli companies made the “AI 100” list of the most promising artificial intelligence startups of 2022 compiled by global tech market intelligence company CB Insights.

The four are:

  • AI21 Labs of Tel Aviv, which makes natural language processing (NLP) software (cited in the AI development category);
  • Pecan AI of Ramat Gan, which provides predictive analytics software to solve critical business problems (cited in the business intelligence category);
  • Run:AI of Tel Aviv, which makes infrastructure tools for building, centralizing and scaling AI (cited in the resource optimization category);
  • Zencity of Tel Aviv, whose community input and insights platform brings residents’ voices into local governmental decision making (cited in the government category).

“The AI 100 is CB Insights’ annual list of the 100 most promising private AI companies in the world. This year’s winners are working on diverse solutions designed to recycle plastic waste, improve hearing aids, combat toxic online gaming behavior, and more,” the company explained.
