Valentine’s Day is a fairly new phenomenon in Israel but that doesn’t stop young lovers across the country from celebrating in style.

You’ll find many events, especially in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, including concerts, parties and special meals at restaurants, and shops are also increasingly getting into the act, but since Valentine’s Day is supposed to be about love, that’s what we are focusing on in our series of photographs.
