Israel fashion designer looks to social networking Bookmark and Share

Israeli designer Mirit Weinstock launched her fashion line five years ago. She now has sales worldwide and has created an innovative marketing concept using social networking.

Most fashion designers look to other designers for inspiration, but Israeli fashion designer Mirit Weinstock also looks to the internet.

The designer, who launched her own line five years ago and now works out of a studio in Jaffa, has harnessed the strength of social networking sites like flickr, Facebook and Google, to encourage women from all over the world to engage with her designs.

The result is Miss Mi - a stunning collection of photographs, which have attracted substantial media interest, showing women the world over wearing her clothes.
