It’s a technology that’s going to make a difference. Lightweight, flexible solar panels… it’s what the industry has been crying out for. Developed by Israeli startup Apollo Power, the panels can be used on anything from a car roof, to trucks or awnings, or the roof of a greenhouse, and can basically turn any surface into a power-generating platform. Volkswagen and Hyundai are already working with the company to enable cars to charge themselves from the sun, while food brands Osem and Strauss all have Apollo panels on their delivery trucks. Amazon has also got in on the action, and now Apollo has built the largest flexible panel factory in the world in the Carmel.
