Since the Israel National Trail was founded 30 years ago, it has evolved and developed dramatically, taking in more and more of the most stunning areas of the country. Stretching from the Red Sea and Israel’s desert to the fertile heights of Mount Hermon, the hiking trail takes you on the most incredible journey through Israel’s varied landscape. In 2012, National Geographic listed it as one of the world’s 20 most epic hiking trails, and with good reason. This year, it celebrates 30 years, and if you want to see the real Israel, it’s definitely worth the trip. Nicky Blackburn |
