Donating your kidney to a family member is an act of love, but giving your kidney to a stranger is something altogether different. Even before October 7, Israel had the highest rate of altruistic kidney donation than anywhere else in the world. But since the Hamas attack, that rate has surged. Reporter John Jeffay went to speak to one of these kidney donors to find out what motivated him to give a part of himself to someone he didn’t know. It’s a moving and powerful story that reminds you just how wonderful humanity can be. Beautiful. Nicky Blackburn |
