Viisights of Tel Aviv is one of just four companies named as a Gartner Cool Vendor on the research and advisory firm’s list of “Cool Vendors in AI for Computer Vision: Balance Business Risk and Reward” published last month.

Gartner recognized Viisights for developing an innovative behavior recognition system for real-time video intelligence.

The report states that “automated scene analysis used to generate real-time insight into human/object behavior is at the cutting edge of video analytics today.”

“We believe that this Cool Vendor recognition is important validation of the growing demand we are experiencing for our behavioral understanding systems and their unique AI-driven capability of understanding the behavioral context of scenes in live video streams,” stated Asaf Birenzvieg, cofounder and CEO of Viisights.

Viisights uses video clips rather than discrete images for training its core AI engine, and is capable of understanding the context of actions and events in live video streams – such as a person walking, running, falling or behaving suspiciously or violently.

The technology has applications for safe and smart cities, smart businesses, critical infrastructures, transportation hubs and autonomous and shared mobility.
