Tilt–shift photography uses camera movement — tilt — for selective focus to simulate a miniature scene. Shifting the lens results in a very small region in which objects appear sharp. Before digital photography, tilt-shift was achieved using special lenses. Today, anyone with the right smart phone filter can achieve a “tilt-and-shift effect”.

Little Big World is a series of tilt-shift movies that turn the country’s landmarks into adorable miniature models. A few months ago, the folks behind Little Big World gave Israel their special miniaturizing treatment in a film entitled “Itsy Bitsy Israel”

They went to Jericho, Ramallah and Bethlehem…

Presented their own “Itsy Bitsy” take on the separation wall…

And visited the Jordan side of the Dead Sea.

More Little Big World episodes from different locations around the world are available on the  YouTube channel, blip.tv., DailyMotion, hulu and Spiritclips (USA only).
