After rumors and unofficial reports, The Rolling Stones confirmed today (March 25) that they will perform in Tel Aviv on June 4, as part of their “14 On Fire” world tour. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood are bringing their iconic music and groundbreaking stage show to the Israeli audience.
The aging legendary rock heroes will play classic Stones hits such as Gimme Shelter, Paint It Black, Jumping Jack Flash, Tumbling Dice, and It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll.
“It’s a huge honor to bring the Rolling Stones to Israel, an honor for the country, the citizens, and mostly for the fans who have waited for this moment,” producer Shuki Weiss told a Tel Aviv press conference.
Ticket sales begin on March 30 (though customers of the Pelephone mobile network can pre-order on March 27). Lawn tickets to the Hayarkon Park show start at $170; those seeking a seat will have to fork over $820.
