Teledata wins $16.2m. project from ICE Costa RicaIsraeli company Teledata Networks has signed a contract worth $16.2 million with ICE, Costa Rica’s National Electricity and Telecommunications Company. Under the terms of the agreement, Tel Aviv based Teledata, which offers multiservice access solutions for next generation networks, will deliver its BroadAccess-1000E Multiservice Access Gateways (MSAG) to the Costa Rica company. The project will enable ICE to transform its current network to IP-based NGN architecture, enabling it to provide triple play services – telephony, broadband Internet and IPTV.
As part of the project, hundreds of BroadAccess-1000E systems will be deployed across the country to provide a complete range of services to residential, business and corporate customers.
Teledata is a subsidiary of the Elron Group.
