If you haven’t yet heard of the “Internet of Food” or “food-tech,” chew on this: The food and beverage industry is turning to innovative technologies for healthier products, sustainable produce, farming analytics, connected delivery and natural ways to extend shelf life.
Food- and beverage-related startups attracted $1.1 billion in venture capital worldwide in the first half of 2014, and Israeli companies account for a piece of this rich pie.
