What’s your favorite ISRAEL21c article and why?

Sukkah hopping in Israel through the decades

My love of technology and Judaism sync together so beautifully in this article, highlighting “a high-tech solution to fulfill an ancient commandment” of dwelling in the Sukkah on Sukkot.

What’s your favorite part about being a digital ambassador?
My favorite part about being an ISRAEL21c ambassador is connecting with other ambassadors around the country and spreading awareness about how Israel is changing the world for the better to people of all backgrounds.

Best Israeli song you know?
Tie between Tudo Bom by Static & Ben El Tavori and Shnei Meshuga’im by Omer Adam.

What’re you up to in this photo?

This picture was taken in the mystical city of Safed (Tzfat) located in the north of Israel this past summer. Tzfat is one of the four holy cities of Israel and represents the element of air. This is due to its location in the mountains and being the origin city of Kaballah. I highly recommend going to Tzfat for an introspective, serene experience. Cities like Tzfat make Israel great because it reminds us of the beauty of nature and the fact that we are all eternal students in our pursuit for truth.

What else are you passionate about?

I love helping people feel good about themselves. One way I get to do this often is by teaching yoga. Yoga is a physical and mental practice that utilizes breath to enter a flow state to be in the present moment. In my classes, I emphasize strength from the inside out and how to be a good person off the mat. I am privileged to teach 2-3 times a week at the University of Florida where I get to connect with my peers. I make it a point to share words of wisdom throughout each class and really enjoy creating new playlists for different class themes. The light in me reflects the light in you!
