Second President’s Conference planned to focus on economic crisisA decision has been made to go ahead with the second annual President’s Conference, Facing Tomorrow, to be held in Jerusalem on October 22-29th.
The event, which will be sponsored by the office of the President Shimon Peres and the Hebrew University, will bring together world leaders, academics, economic experts and others. The conference is designed to focus on coping with the world financial crisis in ways aimed at bringing about a better tomorrow for Israel, and the world. The conference will emphasize Israel’s successful achievements, and the needs the country and world faces in the coming years.
