Tens of thousands of people took to the streets of Jerusalem recently to celebrate the colorful annual Jerusalem March, which takes place annually during the festival of Sukkot, or the Feast of Tabernacles.
The parade featured stilt-walkers, dancers, and marching bands, as well as thousands of Evangelical Christians from some 80 countries around the world who were in Israel for a five-day conference organized by the pro-Israel Christian organization, the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem.
Many of the Christian visitors wore national dress and marched together in national groupings. An estimated 60,000 people took part in the festivities in the heart of Jerusalem.
