What is your favorite ISRAEL21c article and why?

The entire Save a Child’s Heart topic on the website, because a charity saving children’s lives for free is the most Israeli thing I can think of.

What is your favorite part about being a digital ambassador?

I love that I get to collaborate with people from all over the country, through doing something we all love.

What was your most memorable experience in Israel?

My walk to work every day in Jerusalem for three and a half months in the summer of 2017. It’s the reason I got into Israel-related stuff. It’s why I want to live there someday. Like this insane juxtaposition of modern and ancient and me in the center, so so lucky to be there and to be alive in the Jewish state, something my ancestors in the Russian empire and the Soviet Union could never have imagined in their wildest dreams.”

Favorite Israeli song?

I’m a big Idan Raichel fan, and I love Hatikva 6, but my favorite song is “Ata Hamelech” by Eyal Golan. It reminds me that no matter what, I can always be a better version of myself.

What are your other passions?

I love to read. The smell of bookstores is one of my favorite things in the world. I have a passion for trying new foods; I think you can learn so much about a culture and a people from the foods they eat. And I seriously love to travel. I guess to summarize: I love learning, be it from books or food or travel. New knowledge and new experiences thrill me.

Anything else?

I’m really grateful for the opportunity to share my love for Israel in a cool and new way. Social media is definitely the future and so is Israel, so it’s the perfect match.
