Israel won’t be sending any soccer players to the 2014 FIFA World Cup, but the RISCO Group, an Israel-based provider of integrated security solutions, was selected to safeguard the new 44,000-seat Arena Pantanal in Cuiaba for the June 12-13 games in Brazil.

RISCO’s Command and Control solution are designed to enable arena managers to control – from one central location — 300 different areas inside and outside the stadium at once, including all security cameras, lights, entry gates, turnstiles, PA system, locker rooms, VIP rooms, galleries and parking lots. The platform interfaces with third-party systems for seamless operation.

In addition, RISCO is providing a customized ticketing and validation system for the arena, one of 12 stadiums being constructed or remodeled in Brazil for the much-anticipated soccer mega-event at which teams from 32 countries will compete for the coveted World Cup.

“We are honored to have been selected to provide the security solutions for the Arena Pantanal for the 2014 World Cup and thereafter,” said RISCO Security Management Solutions Managing Director Michael Isakov. “Our professional teams are currently working together with the system integrator, to ensure that all integrated systems work together seamlessly and efficiently.

This extensive multidisciplinary project, custom designed for the arena, is giving the Israeli company a prime opportunity to prove its capability for creating tailor-made solutions for the stringent security and operational requirements demanded in today’s market.

The RISCO Group was founded in the late 1970s and has more than 700 employees, most of them in Israel at the global headquarters and the development center in Rishon LeZion, as well as the production center in Kiryat Gat. The company has 13 branches worldwide.
