Design students dream of seeing their art on a top-brand label. For three students at the College of Management Academic Studies in Rishon LeZion, that fantasy became reality during the course of their studies.

The award-winning Van Gogh distillery, AndroMedia  ad agency, and the College of Management Academic Studies recently collaborated on a project to create limited-edition labels for the Dutch brand’s vodkas.

A contest held at the Israeli college in April awarded students Nofar Zarfati, Maayan Bodenstein and Danielle Vertman as winners of the design competition. Their label featuring a third-eye motif will appear on 50,000 Limited Edition Van Gogh Açaí-Blueberry Vodka bottles.

In October last year, Van Gogh Vodka, named for the famous Dutch painter, announced a collaboration with US-based Spring Design Partners on eye-catching new packaging geared to seize the millennial market.

After that collaboration proved successful, the distillery turned to Israel’s largest college for another round of young, contemporary branding.

The goal of the latest rebranding campaign, according to AndroMedia advertising agency, was to design beautiful bottles that young couples would want at their weddings. The wedding campaign has upped the brand’s exposure in Israel by 20 percent, the ad company reports on its website.

The new Israeli-designed bottle labels are set for a summer release.
