Israeli company launches new coffee that can reduce cholesterolIsraeli company Nufar Natural Products has developed a low caffeine Turkish coffee with added vitamins and medicinal herbs to reduce cholesterol. Coffeemax is made from a special blend of coffee beans that have undergone high quality grinding to preserve their aroma and special flavor, with the addition of two medicinal herbs that help in reducing cholesterol: whole quinoa, which is rich in nutritional fibers that can reduce cholesterol, blood sugar levels, and prevent obesity, and silybum marianum, which helps reduce cholesterol and cleanse the liver. The coffee, which is produced without the use of chemicals and costs $12 a jar, is further enriched with B vitamins, folic acid, and Vitamin C. Nufar, founded in 1995, claims that every cup of Coffeemax provides about one third of the recommended daily dose of vitamins and minerals. “Lab tests have proven that the vitamins and minerals remain whole even after adding boiling water when making a cup of Coffeemax coffee,” said Israel Solodoch, managing director of the company.
