ISRAEL21c is proud to report that our special “70 Years of Israeli Achievement” exhibition was the sight that greeted 700 VIP guests arriving at the “Hollywood Salutes Israel” reception sponsored by the Consul General of Israel in Los Angeles at Universal Studios.
The 14 stunning images depicting each decade of Israeli achievement were printed out in large vibrant color and stood around the perimeter of the sound stage where guests entered and mingled before the show on June 10.
Moving into the main sound stage, guests then watched congratulatory video messages from Barbra Streisand, Robert de Niro, Michael Douglas, Bill Maher, Gal Gadot, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Celebrities including Kelsey Grammar, Mayim Bialik, Billy Crystal, Mike Burstyn, Metta World Peace, Noa Tishby, Elon Gold, Eric Dickerson, Israeli singer Ninet Tayeb and “Fauda” creators Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff led the audience on a visual and oral history of seven decades of Israeli history accompanied by a dramatic video montage.
“The beautifully displayed ISRAEL21c exhibition was a perfect way to get people excited for the star-studded show,” says ISRAEL21c’s media engagement consultant, Nathan Miller, who was at the event.
