Israeli politicians and entrepreneurs are taking part in the first-ever high-tech conference aimed at integrating the ultra-orthodox community into the ‘Startup Nation’ ecosystem.
Political leaders including Hatnua Chairwoman Tzipi Livni, Shas Chairman Eli Yishai, HaBayit HaYehudi Chairman Naftali Bennett, Erel Margalit of the Labor Party and Rabbi Shai Piron of Yesh Atid will join dozens of Haredi entrepreneurs and high-tech enthusiasts from throughout Israel to discuss entrepreneurship, innovation and employment in Israel’s ultra orthodox sector.
Topics to be discussed include effective ways of raising capital; government programs encouraging Haredi entrepreneurship; success stories and effective ways of absorbing the ultra-orthodox into the general high-tech arena.
The meeting will take place on January 15 at the JVP Media Quarter – the Jerusalem high-tech hub. The conference was organized by JVP and the Haredi High-Tech Forum.
