Like many Israelis after their army service, Yotam Polizer went trekking in India and Nepal. In Kathmandu he saw a note asking for helpers to work with street children. He decided to go for a couple of hours, and those two hours turned into three and a half years.

His work in Nepal led him eventually to Israeli humanitarian aid organization IsraAID, where he is now a co-CEO. In the years since then he has personally helped more than 250,000 people across the world in the wake of devastating manmade and natural disasters.
