The Crusades were a series of religious wars fought by European Christians between the 11th and 13th centuries, intended to wrest control of the Holy Land from the Muslims. The Crusaders built monumental castles and fortresses, remnants of which stand to this day open for exploration.

Follow along with 21see on a virtual tour of 10historic Crusader sites in Israel: Caesarea, Montfort Castle, Capharleth (HaBonim), Knights Hall in Acre, Château Pèlerin (Atlit Castle), Belvoir Castle, Nimrod Fortress, Appolonia, Tower of David Citadel and Antipatris.
