Shimon Peres is one of those people who puts most of us to shame. While most 91-year-olds are ready to sit back and relax, especially after such a varied and illustrious career, Peres – the former President of Israel – is already planning his next move.

In a hilarious and brilliant clip on Youtube, just released by the Peres Center for Peace and called ‘Former Israeli President Shimon Peres goes job hunting’, Peres asks what’s next?

If the clip is anything to go by – just about anything, from a gas station attendant, to a check-out assistant in a supermarket, a delivery boy, or even a sky-diving instructor.

It’s a short, cute movie that perfectly displays what makes Peres such a unique communicator in Israeli society today. He understands new media intimately and manages to use humor to pass on some of his very serious opinions.
This is clearly a man who is not about to go gently into that good night. We all look forward to seeing what he will do next.
