Jul. 22 – US Senate appropriators have named six Israeli health and education institutions among 15 recommended for funding by the US Agency for International Development assistance under the USAID Schools and Hospitals Abroad program. Earlier this month, the Senate Appropriations Committee approved the 2010 foreign operations appropriations bill and referred it to the full Senate.
