Hip, bohemian Florentin – a southern Tel Aviv neighborhood named for David Florentin, the Greek Jew who purchased the land in the 1920s – still has a few of the carpentry shops that once dominated the village-like streets. But the modest area is better known today for its edgy street art, pubs, ethnic and vegan eateries and nightlife.
